From the article: War of the “Woods”
Do you have comments or advice for Tandooris? What was particularly good about the story? Are there things that could be improved?
War of the"Woods"
- I think I like this story better than I would like War of the Worlds. I don't like science fiction but this is rather spellbinding

WOOO!
- I think this version was scarier than the orginal. I really liked your use of descriptive words (even if I had to look some of them up). The entire peice was really well done.

War of the Woods
- Originally written in 1898, radio broadcast (and timely, politically) in 1938 the original version took place in London--the movie in an American City. Human nature expressed brilliantly by Orson Wells. The basis of this story is expressed in the Declaration of Independence: are disposed to suffer abuses as long as those abuses are sufferable (not an exact quote--but equally the basis of this story with regard to human nature. I think it was Shakespeare (which cracks me up) who said, "the same story is told again and again by some fool with the same furor and angst as if it had happened for the first time" (again, a mangled quote) but still. Nice Job!

Clever!
- I really enjoyed this. And you really could not have gotten farther from the original in setting. I also liked the play on words with the title -- I wonder, was that the inspiration for the story?
