The winning story will earn a $1,000 grand prize and publication in Memphis Magazine. Two honorable mention awards of $500 each will be given if the quality of entries warrants. The New York Public Library Young Lions Fiction Award is a $10,000 prize awarded each spring to a writer age 35 or younger for a novel or a collection of short stories published the previous year.
