Tulip
- I liked this story. It is well written and not overly wordy. I don't like it when an author uses so many big, descriptive words. It is best when most of the words are ordinary, everyday ones.

response to The Tulip
- It was very descriptive and painted the picture of the surrondings very well. I was moved by the woman's regrets of what might have been but encouraged by her re-newed outlook on the furture.

Opinion of "The Tulip"
- I loved the symbolism in this story - the contrast of the grey bench and blue sky. The woman would "do her duty" by visiting the grave, but she would also start living life in a better way.

The Tulip
- The story was very well stated!! It gave me the chance to completely visualize this woman in what she was doing while in the cemetery, reflecting her past life and how she will approach life in the future now that her difficult husband is gone.
