WriterHouse Mission:
WriterHouse is a not-for-profit writing space and literary organization in Charlottesville, VA, that encourages the development of writers of all levels by providing an affordable, secure workspace, high quality writing instruction, and literary events.
Working at WriterHouse:
Writers who wish to use WriterHouse as a writing space have two options: non-reserved space for $50 per month or $125 per quarter, or reserved space for $175 per month, or $500 per quarter. This includes 24/7 access, use of the kitchen, and free wireless. WriterHouse is located at 508 Dale Avenue. Stop by or phone 434-296-1922 to make an appointment to preview the writers' work spaces.
Classes and Literary Events :
WriterHouse offers affordable creative writing classes, which meet once a week and run for eight weeks. In addition to the classes, WriterHouse hosts readings and other literary events. Check their site for full details.
