What You Need to Know About Northern Colorado Writers

What Is Northern Colorado Writers?:
Kerrie Flanagan, a freelance writer and publicist, started Northern Colorado Writers (NCW) in 2007 in order to connect area writers to each other and to the larger writing world. Since then, the organization has actively supported writers of all levels and backgrounds as they pursue their writing careers.
What Events Do They Host?:
NCW organizes monthly critiques and coffeehouse meetings, a guest speaker series, workshops, an annual retreat, and the Northern Colorado Writers Conference, which draws over a hundred writers each spring. Workshops cover topics like "Developing an Idea into a Saleable Children's Story" and "Successful Self-Publishing." Events take place at various locations in Ft. Collins and the surrounding area.
How Can I Join?:
The $75 membership, available online, includes a subscription to their newsletter, a free profile page, monthly critique groups, and discounted admission to events. Some events are also open to the general public.
