Hachette Basics:

In 2006, the French publishing company Hachette Livre acquired Time Warner Book Group, and Hachette Book Group was born. Hachette Livre is a subsidiary of Lagardère, a communications and media company. Imprints include Little, Brown and Company, Grand Central Publishing (formerly Warner Books), and Orbit, a science fiction and fantasy imprint.

Fiction at Hachette:

Through these imprints, Hachette can claim an impressive backlist that includes works such as To Kill a Mockingbird, Little Women, and The Name of the Rose. Contemporary authors under their banner include Michael Connelly, Alice Sebold, Nelson DeMille, and Nicholas Sparks.
