SASE

By , About.com Guide

Definition: "SASE" stands for self-addressed, stamped envelope, and it's what you enclose when you submit work to journals -- so they can send you an answer (hopefully a bright, shiny acceptance letter). Both envelopes should be standard #10 business envelopes. Fold the SASE so that it will fit easily into the letter.
