As an ML, fourth-year participant Clarice Meadows, is organizing events in South Brooklyn as well as attending this Manhattan write-in. Amanda Fleming, a screenwriter, decided to do National Novel Writing Month when she realized that most of her friends were going to be MLs this year. If she was going to have a social life in November, she knew she'd have to write a novel.
