Olga, the ML for Williamsburg, Brooklyn, gave Olivia a massage to help her keep going. At 65,000 words, Olivia was actually just filling in some gaps in her novel, which she'd officially finished two nights before. As the unofficial NaNoWriMo NYC baker, Olivia had brought in a delicious chocolate Guinness cake for this last night.
A sixth year NaNoWriMo participant, Olga said that she's met some of her best friends through National Novel Writing Month. She added that this "masochistic, lovely adventure" has also given her discipline and focus as a writer. After undergoing this insane experiment, the blank page can never frighten you again.
