Desperation Libation, National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) 2007

Kate (right), a second-year NaNoWriMo participant, had 48,575 words and was confident that she'd finish -- though she was threatening to kill off all her characters. Sabrina, who just moved to NYC, did National Novel Writing Month in her native Germany last year (in English, no less). At eight o'clock, she had 47,410 words.
