Writing Spaces

Every summer I look over our lists of writers' rooms to make sure everthing's current, and for the second year in a row, not one had closed -- it seems these spaces continue to flourish, despite the economic downturn. If the recession has affected anything, it's prices. Outside of New York, many places have lowered their rates. (In New York, where many media types are out of work, prices have generally gone up a bit, but not as much as I expected.)
