Texas Book Festival October 27-29, 2006

If you're in the vicinity of Austin, Texas, this weekend, be sure to check out the Texas Book Festival, an annual event that brings over 150 authors to the Texas State Capitol. This year's festival features Frank McCourt, Amy Sedaris, and Brad Meltzer, as well as Gore Vidal in conversation with Maureen Dowd. Agent and author Arielle Eckstut and author David Henry Sterry will also be hosting the first Pitchapalooza, which will give writers the opportunity to try out book ideas on the pros.
