Shakespeare's First Folio Sells for $5.2 Million

Last Thursday, a copy of the First Folio of Shakespeare's plays, one of about 40 known to exist, was sold by Sotheby's in London to an anonymous London book dealer. The folio preserves 18 plays, which otherwise would have been lost. For more on the history of the folio,, click here.
