2005 Zoetrope: All-Story Contest Now Open

Friday August 19, 2005
Robert Olen Butler will be judging this year's All-Story Contest, which awards prizes of $250-$1,000. Winners and seven honorable mentions will be announced on the website December 1, 2005, and in the Spring 2006 issue of Zoetrope: All-Story. They accept all genres of literary fiction provided they are unpublished, 5,000 words or less, and (of course) accompanied by a $15 entry fee. More info on the site. Entries must be postmarked by October 1, 2005.

The magazine, begun by Francis Ford Coppola to support young voices in fiction, has published the work of writers such as Gabriel García Márquez, Don DeLillo, and Cynthia Ozick.
