Nimrod International Journal Now Accepting Submissions

Monday August 15, 2005
I recently received a notice that Nimrod: International Journal of Prose and Poetry, published by the University of Tulsa, is currently accepting submissions of short fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction for publication in its spring 2006 issue. The deadline for submissions for this issue is December 15th, 2005, and the theme for this issue is "Doing the Hundreds." One hundred writers will help celebrate Oklahoma's 100 years of statehood and the 50th year of the publication of Nimrod International Journal. According to the site, the theme is deliberately open and invites interpretation, though they do offer a few suggestions on their website. Writers may also contact Managing Editor Ellis O'Neal at nimrod@utulsa.edu.
